Get To Know Me!

I currently work as a Sports Reporter/Anchor at KTAL NBC6 in Shreveport, LA. 

 

Growing up, I was surrounded by sports thanks to my dad. Every day was a new sports story, a historic game to watch or a new player to study. I wasn't even able to leave for school unless I answered his daily sports trivia question. I'm serious. I wouldn't have traded the constant trivia for the world, though. I developed a passion for sports, and most importantly, for the stories.

My story was racing home from school to catch the 4:11 train to Madison Square Garden for every New York Rangers game. It included getting chills at the sight of thousands of fans waving rally towels for playoff games. It was endless nights of watching sports on the couch with my dad.

That's what I love about sports. They have the unique power to bring people together. Sports created a special bond between my dad and I. That's my story. Now, I want to tell other people's stories.
